2 of 2 people found the following review helpful works with one bluetooth device at a time (sort of), By This review is from: IOGEAR Bluetooth USB 2.1 Micro Adapter with Tri-language Package (GBU421W6) (Personal Computers) i have 3 of these devices and it took me a lot of experimenting to arrive at my conclusions.1. works with Vista (drivers come with Vista Home Basic) 2. works with Ubuntu Linux (drivers come with Ubuntu) 3. works with Windows 7 Starter (must install drivers that come with device) Microsoft leaves things out of Windows 7 Starter and they hope you will get frustrated and buy an upgrade to Home Premium. I have one device on my Lenovo S10-3 Netbook and use a bluetooth mouse but it will disconnect on it's own when not used for more than 5 minutes. This could be mouse powering down to save power. i bought the mini bluetooth mouse on amazon too. it has a bluetooth logo on it and after much use i am very happy with it. The combo work well together and the dongle has low profile which lets me leave it in all the time and which lets the S10-3's power cable to rotate around it without hitting it. I use this pair with my Windows 7 system and it works great! The only caveat is that i had to download and install the IOGEAR specific drivers for it to work in stereo mode. If you are upgrading windows you must remember to unplug this device from your computer before doing the upgrade. Otherwise, Windows will install default drivers that fail to make the device work, and what's worse, will prevent the correct drivers from working when you install them later. The correct order for doing a windows upgrade with this device is:unplug the device install Windows let Windows update itself install the software from iogear.com or the widcomm software from Broadcom.com let the software install fail to detect a device and prompt you to install it plug in the device let the software finish The default windows 6 x64 Home Premium drivers won't let the device pair with anything if the device is plugged in before installing Windows.
