What is KEYKatcher?

Installation
To install the KEYKatcher just plug it in between your keyboard cable and your computer. Heat-shrink tubing is provided with each KEYKatcher to create a tamper-evident seal if desired.
Retrieving Data
When you want to see what's been recorded, simply open any word processing program and type in your password. A menu will be displayed on the screen.
General Use
The KEYKatcher works with any PC operating system. Since it stores keystrokes in a non-volatile memory chip you can record on one computer, unplug it, then read it out on another computer. When you're ready to see what the KEYKatcher has recorded type in your password and choose the 'view memory' option to see every keystroke that's been recorded.

I am a fan and will continue to use it. The only change that is bad is that now when you add a new version it does not just add 365 days to whatever days you have remaining on your current protection so you just lose out on those days. Generally I buy whatever is available for a good price on Black Friday. This year is was the Internet Security, but only for one computer. So I had to substitute the freebee, McAfee, on my second and third computers. I wish I had not. Should have just paid for the extra support.So for me, at least, Norton has always worked. I have never had a virus get through. The anti spam works, and my computers don't crash. McAfee, on the other hand, has not worked well and will be replaced. I highly recommend any Norton product, keeping in mind that smaller older computers should use the simplest product available (anti-virus), instead of the top product (360), so that the software doesn't make your computer lag much. |
